Mid way double!

It's time for my midway post for our theme of
nature - flowers/birds/animals or anything goes at

Remember we have a great prize up for grabs so be sure and join us!

For my card I used a rectangle mask from Lisa Horton Crafts
and inside the rectangle I added some green, yellow
and orange inks, blended together.
I then stamped the flower and sentiment from a Hero Arts
set called Things we Love.
The flower has been coloured with markers.
I added some little dots and splodges using a set called
Hello Ladybug (SU).

I am so sharing my mid way post for
where the theme is favourite stamps + add lace or ribbon.

The prize up for grabs is this!!
So please come and join us!

For my card I have gone with an Easter theme
using a cute little family of ducks from a
stamp set called Fable Friends (SU).
Definitely a firm favourite with me!
I cut some gingham paper to fit my card along with
some white ribbon, and ran
it through my sewing machine.
I die cut a rectangle in white and added some
grass using a small stamp and some green markers.
I then stamped and coloured my ducks with markers
and cut them out by hand.
When I had added them to my card front
I stamped the sentiment and used my oval punch
to layer it up and stuck in place.

Wonderful ink blending on your first card and that duck family on the second are so cute. Love their outfits. The gingham card works brilliantly and that's a great way to incorporate ribbon xx

Both cards are wonderful but I'm really drawn to the checked gingham and duck family card for FQGS!!! Great topic for our 'anything farm and/or country goes' theme! Lots of country charm! The machine stitching is terrific use for texture and adhering purposes! Super ideas! -- Becca

What a lovely Easter card, the motif of momma Goose with her little ones is absolutely adorable! Beautifully coloured and arranged. I like the piece of grass in the background, and how it blends into the green gingham paper. Nice touch with the sewing that frames your card. Thanks for joining the Alphabet challenge.
