Floral Birthday Card

I spend a lot of time on Pinterest looking for inspiration and I saw several floral cards with colored flowers on black cardstock. I really like the contrast it gives and ofcourse had to give it a try myself.

I embossed the black panel. On top of that I added 3 flowers and some leaves. The flower set is from Papertrey Ink Into The Blooms Dahlia. I choose pink and yellow. I inked up the middle of the flowers to give it a more realisitic look. I also added a bit of ink on the flowers. I added a sentiment from Marianne Design LR0750 Van Harte in gold metallic cardstock.

So an unusual color combination but very beautiful I think.

I will be adding this to the following challenge:
Girlz Rebel #39 - Anything Goes Flowers
Double D - Springtime Flowers
Beautiful Blossoms - Anything Floral Goes
Do-Al(I) Kreatives #100 - Spring Birthday
Seize The Birthday #303 - Layer It
Time Out #286 - Floral

Till next time
Renate

  5. Wow, so great! This contrast between black, pink, and yellow looks simply fantastic. And the flowers themselves are so beautiful. The petals of this stunning flower spread out so beautifully. And the gold lettering fits perfectly.
