Whimsy Blooms Bouquet

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I've had a play with a NBUS die that I got for Christmas.

It's taken me a while to get to it.

My sweet friend Michele inspired me to get this die when I saw this post.

The leaves work beautifully for mistletoe but I really loved the third card in her post
where she used it as a bouquet.

I die cut the pieces (there's a lot of pieces!) from watercolor paper and colored
with Distress inks.

That bow really clinched the decision to get this set.

Challenges:
Color Throwdown #830 - Yellow, Mint & Lavender
Darnell's I.D.E.A.S. - Week 2 Die Cuts
Just Us Girls #770 - Word Week YOU
NBUS #73 - Never Before Used Schtuff ( Dies)

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Scripty Sayings (GKD)
Ink:   Versafine Vintage Sepia, Scattered Straw, Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Bundled Sage (DI)
Paper:   Neenah Solar White, Watercolor (Fabriano Artistico)
Other:  Whimsy Blooms Bouquet dies (Alex Syberia), Pierced Blanket Cover Die (Picket Fence)

Enjoy!

The bow was a great final touch to your lovely yellow bouquet, Bonnie. I love the way you added the sentiment. Sometimes that's the most difficult part of finishing a card.

Oh, boy, you see how this works, Bon. One girl makes a card and enables another girl, who enables me, and then I enable someone else. Goodness, you have made the best spring bouquet I've seen so far this year! Love the yellow, the background, the bling, and that sweet fishtail sediment! Thank you for linking again to NBUS and motivating everyone by using the I.D.E.A.S. Calendar this week!📌 Happy Easter!🐇 Hugs, Darnell

Great to see your new die in action. Love its multi-use as both mistletoe or summer flowers! In this case, your summer flowers are beautiful - the soft yellow is so springlike and pretty.

What a pretty bouquet Bonnie, and you are right about the bow, and so beautifully coloured, and the pierced diamond effect of the PF die makes a wonderful background, x
