There’s a bit of a story about this.
The patterned paper for this card is from a dear friend who passed away about a year ago.
Her two daughters called me after she passed to come over and take whatever I wanted from her “stash”.
Most of it I suggested they give to a local craft resale shop in our area.
I took mostly papers that I loved…this is one of them.
The base cards is white card stock with a layer of red card stock.
I cut a piece of the patterned paper and flipped it over.
USing Sizzix flower dies, white card stock and more of the patterned paper I created the flower.
To give it some dimension i used the Tim Holtz set to puff up the flowers.
The sentiment is another Sizzix die.
Glorious, Arlene, what a great paper for the fold! I LOVE these bold colors! Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!
