Blackout Technique

Hey crafty friends, have you heard of the backout technique?
I hadn't until I spotted a beautifully done blackout card in one of the challenges. Can't remember who it was by... still looking for it.
This is my first attempt at it. I used Simon Says Delicate Blooms Embossing Folder.
Not quite blacked out. But I still like the distress look of it! I found the inspiration @ YouTube to make one.
On for another try! See if I can get it right.
If you have done one let me know so I can visit your blog & see! Thank You.

Using the Simon Says Delicate Blooms Embossing Folder brings a beautifully distressed look to the design. It's inspiring to see someone experimenting with new techniques and embracing the journey of perfecting them.

  3. It looks amazing and I like it if the black does not cover completely. I also tried out the technique and am showing a card with it today.
