I’m a day early for St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans but I thought this gif needed to be shared. Do you have anything special lined up tomorrow? I may wear one of my Irish T-shirts and that’s about it. I remember one year when the kids were small, we did up a green eggs and ham breakfast as it fell on the weekend. That was fun but I’m sure our kidneys really didn’t appreciate all that green dye. lol
Welcome to Monday’s Music Moves Me on Sundays! This week’s theme is whatever music moves you!
Today’s line up I can’t remember how I stumbled on the artist. My guess is one of you shared this band. I was only 10 years old when the songs from the collection I’m about to share released. After digging a little I learned this group only had two albums, two singles, and six appearances. I hope you enjoy the easy listening sound of The Manzanilla Sound as much as I did!
Music themes are only suggestions. I don’t care one what kind of music it is, as long as you share music. Now, it’s your turn!
This is a music link up. Your post must contain at least one song or your URL is marked “No Music”.
1. I enjoy talking to DH. It’s wonderful having a soulmate who also enjoys talking with me.
2. Praying for others is something kind I did recently. I rarely go anywhere or do anything anymore. Praying for others is the first thing to pop in my head.
3. I wish I could eat anything without any repercussions. That would be awesome to be free of tummy worries or gaining weight!
4. I’ve been complimented on my sweetness but criticized for my argumentive nature. In my defense, I never mean to argue…it just comes off that way sometimes when I explain something.
Thanks for joining me today. I hope you have a boogietastic week!

I found the rainbow background on the Internet. Unfortunately, I can’t provide credit. The friendship Irish blessing I found at Davidiam Photography

Cathy, this is a treasure for fans of this kind of music (like Yours Truly)! The YouTube user who has all this great music has a ton more in their library. I’ll be plowing into that very shortly…
The music is laid back and perfect for working. It kind of reminds me of the theme from the Austin Powers movies which was taken from a Canadian TV show called, ‘Definition”.
Sometimes, prayer is what’s needed like the people who lost their homes and even loved ones in the most recent weather disaster. I’m not one who prays often but, sometimes, it’s needed. I like the last one…sounds a bit like me:) I’m told I’m easy going but that I’m bossy and can raise my voice especially if I’m passionate about something.
Love the giggles at the start of your blog.
I wish I could eat like I used to but not gain any weight. Nothing sounds that good to me other than sweet things.
I doubt that I’ll do much tomorrow. You actually reminded me that it was St Pat day. I didn’t even get a corned beef brisket and cabbage like I usually do. I’m not particularly enthralled despite having Irish ancestry. Don’t go anywhere anyway probably. And I do have a green shirt that I already have laid out for tomorrow–not purposely, but maybe subconciously.
I don’t have the interest in eating too much of anything. I usually get in trouble during the holiday season but I hope this year I can curtail my sweet cravings.
Your St Patty’s Day meal sounds yummy. I love that kind of food but it doesn’t like me too much, so we’ll be avoiding it this year.
It’s cool today and am wearing my green fleece hoodie. That’ll keep DH from pinching me…well, maybe not but it’s fun to say that anyhow. I remember the days to wear green on St. Patrick’s Day so to friends wouldn’t pinch me in school. The boys were notoriously bad for getting ya.
No rainbows today where I live, alas, but tomorrow is supposed to be a lovely springlike day. This is some good background music for chores or cleaning. My favorite was actually the first one, with its Latin vibe. I also liked Ain’t No Mountain High Enough and the last song, which had a kind of (to me) Herb Albert vibe. Alana ramblinwitham
It’s a beautiful spring-like day. Currently, the temperature reads 72º. It’s quite windy, though. Tomorrow, will is forecast to be nice but cooler. It’ll still be nice. Thanks for dropping by for some music this Sunday, Alana. I’ll be by tomorrow morning. Have a boogietastic week, my dear!
A nice easy listening tune!!
Very cool. I had never heard of them. Thanks for sharing. Also, thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
Happy
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Cathy!
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Prayer is very powerful and definitely a kind thing to do for others. XO

Funny cartoon and a good tune too!

Have a shamrockin’ day, Lee!
