Sandringham

Photo taken November 2024 on the outskirts of Auckland City, between upper Karangahep Road and  Sandringham

We have had bursts of rain but so the tank outide is now 2/3 full which is positive and it is rumoured that the hot dry weather will continue through to April. But there's a definite chill in the air, Autumn is on it's way.

Linking up with Weekend ReflectionsShadow Shot Sunday.

The thing about new zealand townscapes is there always seems to be BIG sky. I know that sounds a bit nuts but sky is a big feature.

Hope you have more hot days. We had some sunshine today but it's still winter. I'm not in a hurry for summer

Strange to see cars driving left of the road. I don't think I could use to that.

Another great street shot and funny that everything on the other side of the earth is just opposite. Weather ,driving etc.

Aha. So you take our warmth away! Kidding. But 1C is not nice for March...

Interesting architecture on that street. We, meanwhile, are aching for spring.

You are thinking about autumn and we are getting worried about summer. February was way warmer than usual which might not bode well for our summer heat.

Yet, in Southern Oregon my garden is a month behind last year! The end of Feb. last year the fruit trees were in bloom. Last week only a few crocus.
