Sunshine Lane, Collingwood for Mural Monday

I love strolling along this lane in Collingwood. Problem is the lack of parking availability in the area and its incredible foot traffic.

  1. These are very nice murals. I see the first two have escaped the dreaded "tagging". That's good news.

  2. I really like the idea of murals appearing on what used to be a plain brick or concrete wall. That trumpet player in the first photo is terrific, but so is the streetscape behind him, so much detail and texture. Love it all.

  5. Probably parking in the lane would eventually ruin the murals and make the open coffee shops smell of petrol. The incredible foot traffic shows people would rather walk a bit further and protect their special area.

  9. It looks like Donald Duck is about to be swallowed up by an atomic blast in that last one.
