Can You Feel the Love Tonight @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Kate's turn to choose the challenge and she's going with an Elton John songs theme for 2025.  This week it's "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" which means she wants to see those projects about luuuuurrrrvvvvvveeee. ♥♥♥

This is what I did.....

I've used a Melonheadz Illustrating image and coloured it up to look like my daughter and her girlfriend (my newest sub-baby) so my daughter could use it as a Valentine's card.  I was teasing her by telling her that, even though she's taller than B, I went with the slighter shorter one for her as she'd be the one more likely to do a high side ponytail.  I tried not to feel hurt by her scoff seeing as I used to rock the high side pony back in the 80s.  (:

Even though a lot of you agreed with me two weeks ago, I'm gonna say it again in case there's someone new visiting.....red and pink go beautifully together, and you'll never convince me otherwise.  So there.  (:

Why not give our challenge a go this week and join us?  And, if you'd like more inspiration, be sure to check out what the Girlfriends have made.

  7. Yep, totally agree pink & red rock! This is an awesome card and even with the eyeroll thrown in, I know your daughter loved it! As I'm sure her girlfriend will, too. These are super cute digis, colored beautifully and love the paper choices.

  11. A fantastic card for your daughter and her girlfriend/your sub-baby! Perhaps B's shoes are actually heeled. I really like the way you did the sentiment in three separate, bordered boxes. Looks great! (And I'm still in full agreement with red and pink being a great combo.)

Okay, so ever since I started my blog (well, maybe not right from the get-go, it was probably a good six months or so before I realized you could change it from just "Leave your comment") I've tried to come up with something witty to type here.

*sitting with brow furrowed in concentration*...*staring at the ceiling while pursing lips*...*resting with head on hand while tapping foot*...

Nope, I still got nothing.
