Katzelkraft - PARIS

Hi everyone!
I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft card.

In a few days there will be a card swap in our craft group but I can already show the card
because nobody's looking here ;)
The theme is PARIS + Gold.
Usually, when we think of Paris, we first think of the Eiffel Tower,
but this time it was Notre Dame that came to mind.
I'm sure you've all seen the catastrophe of the burning cathedral in the media.
Today, it has been restored and is even more beautiful than before!

....but of course, I couldn't miss the Eiffel Tower (Craft Sensations), this city's most famous symbol!

Perfume, fashion, love letters, coffee, croissants, glasses of wine and musical notes also come to mind when talking about Paris. I tried to incorporate all this into the small strip in the background. (all the same set as the Eiffel tower)
I heat embossed the Eiffel Tower in gold and fussy cut it. Stamped the word PARIS and cut it out as well. The cathedral I set in a Polaroid frame.
I stuck washi tape on the background strip. Added all the cut-out elements and finally stamped the last two words: "ville lumière" - which means “city of light”.    ...I made a whole eleven cards ;)

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft creation! :)

  2. Such a lovely card and so beautiful with the gold accents. Definitely the burning was a terrible unexpected event, but the beauty and creativity of restoration was a wonderful outcome of the devastation! Thanks for sharing your lovely card with us at Path of Positivity and reminding us of that event. Katrina
