Morning readers,
I've a make to share with you today ... I saw this technique on one of those fun short reels on Facebook, about making a Christmas tree tag with a few random paint lines and immediately thought it might work perfectly for a commission card. Wonder why I'd never considered it before, considering my love of all things CAS! My commissionee prefers to have them sentiment free so she can choose the occasion. My thoughts are that this would suit a male or female recipient and that the gold sheen of the mica paints might even lend itself to a celebratory card like a congratulations or anniversary. The jacquard mica paints are great but I can't wait to break out my Gansai Tambi starry night palette (now I'm home) and see how this technique works.

My C6 card |
Materials used:
- White, 250gsm, C6 card and matching envelope
- Card in white and black, for my card front, insert and matting
- Using low tack tape I masked off a panel
- Adding water to my Jacquard mica paints I used a No 6 round brush to "doodle" my lines
- Once dry I removed the tape and used my splatter brush to add gold splatters to my card front
I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-

Wow - so simple yet incredibly effective - what a great technique
LOVE the look of this card. Great technique. I’ll have to wait until Santa has been to get my hands on some GT Starry Night paints! Xxx
He's already checking his list ....
The shimmery gold stripe down the card looks so pretty Kathy, and love the technique you used with a brush with the paints to get the stripes and added spattering. x
Thank you for joining in our challenge this month with your wonderful project!
