Moin, You There?

As you maybe know we had a short holiday in Wilhelmshaven by the ocean.
One day was so horribly stormy I bruised my head (and more) trying to climb a boat - how dumb can one be ;-)
I saved my glasses at least! And the bruises are nearly gone, too. Do not climb war-ships in the storm.
In sneakers, too. Do not. Slippery.

I hope someone had an eye on me, too... Ingo rather not - he went on - luckily, post to come!

"Zabou is a French street artist based in London.

Specialising in realistic portraits in black and white, she has been creating large-scale murals for more than a decade. Her work skillfully captures the expressions and emotions of her subjects, drawing inspiration from everyday life, stories, and the surrounding environment. She travels and paints to make the world a more colourful place, one wall at a time."

A colorful place????

I entered another boat from WA on a non-stormy day, see here, if you like.

For non- or "old"-Germans, "Moin" does not mean "Good morning" but simply "Hello".
They say it everywhere anywhere these days.
Don´t be confused (as I was years ago) and answer in the arvo (afternoon) with "Guten Morgen"....

It's a very nice mural but I like the reflected lions better.

The Lions are from the internet, but yes, wish I could sit by the water with Ingo like this.
And not bruise my head ;-)
Boy, did that hurt! Now I can laugh about that.

Thank you, Mae, for now the heating is gone. But I can at least "laugh" about that. Keeps one warm....

Yes, Sami, a mural like that in such a small town, huh. I´m good :-)

That's a very nice mural. Too bad about your bruising, but I never had a good time on a boat. I sailed between islands with friends in 1975 and that made me seasick. Never again!

Nice mural! You sure know how to spot them.
My hubby would go on and leave me too. Even today, I needed him but he had walked on, leaving me to manage on my own with my walker, trying to getbout a door. Fortunately someone else helped.

Climbing into and out of, and even around on boats can be touch. Especially when it's wet. Glad you are healing and hope you are all not bruised soon. hugs-Erika

Luckily I don´t get seasick - at all. I am just clumsy ;-)

Yes to both! Oh, what Freddie could´ve done if time allowed him....

Oh, ack. And we always help. I have no words. I am sorry. Have you told him how you felt?
