At My Never Came True

Went to the city on my day off Friday (ack, see what  I got there here...).
On the way back home I found these murals, sadly tagged and the artists vary and don´t give names as it´s not allowed to paint/spray there.

It looks shabby, huh.
This is from the outside.

All the tagging he dislikes!
This makes me angry at tad, too. Or sad.
This place inside is a parking lot, costs money to park your car now, I spare you the shabby pic I could take. It´s tagged all over by soccer fans.

I think each year the Fachhochschule Hildesheim makes this a project but it is just a fake.

This was my entry for my diploma:

Before WWII this was a marketplace indeed.
I kept the original walls in my work.

Pics taken in my old "children-room" and then my Bro on my asking threw it in the bin.
A parking lot is more productive...

Also Braunschweig has many open marketplaces, so a parking lot indeed is the better idea.
Still I always get a bit sad going home via this route. @our host, maybe you remember the place - it´s a bit hidden. On foot you reach it via Fallersleber Torwall corner Lange Straße.

Ah, well. Architecture is long behind my interest and I am the happiest about that and my ESE is the best and the technology of railway is much more interesting to me.
So, bye-bye parking lot, I always just give a silent, sad hello.

Many a grocery or store has Henry or Braunschweig as logo.
We can reach all the buildings shown by foot, btw :-)

A crazy lady, an unhappy man and a angry man... goodmorning Iris, hope you don't have to meet them today! Or maybe just the crazy lady

No, Bertiebo, I usually take a different route. But I´ll likely talk to a crazy, supernice lady today :-)

I like your architecture model very much and wish I could do things like that, but my mind works in different ways.
I like decent graffiti too, but dislike tags that spoil everything.

You´re very, very creative in ways I can not follow in writing :-)
Yes, I think taggers are but jealous... sad souls...

Amazing architecture model Iris, I had no idea ... you could be an architect! Quirky murals, I like the second one, African man ?. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Iris

Tom, yes, don´t worry... ;-)
____

gigi, "interesting" is the correct word!

____

Sami, yes, that´s what I wasted my time with studying...
A small person in that work-field is nonsense...

I hate it when taggers ruin someone's nice work.

Taggers stink, that is probably all the talent they have.

Iris Flavia said...

RedPat, they are mentally poor people, those taggers.

____

Bill, yes, they stink!

What was that song? They paved paradise and put up a parking lot. I hope you have a good week.

I really dislike graffiti, and do not understand at all why people do it. But then, I don't like tattoos either--looks like people tagging their own bodies to me.

But murals, yes! Even if they are of sad or angry people, their is art to it.

That's a cool model. It looks like it took a long time to make, but I suppose since you needed to do it for graduation, you wanted it to be really well done. Hope it was a nice Monday. hugs-Erika

CJ, well, at least they kept the walls...

____

Sue, I think taggers are jealous, non-arty, sad people...

Erika, yes, after all the technical drawings I had to create the darn model, too. Ack! Took forever. Soldiering included. Looooong ago - was a great Monday, hope yours as well, hugs
