A Little Note book

Here is my latest recycling project.
My husband and I bought some garden chairs,
and the tags on them were too good to throw away.
So I made some mini note books. Here is the first one.

At first I gessoed the outside of the tag to hide the print and the photo on it.
The paper for the cover is a freebie from Beccy.
For the inside and the sheets to write on, I used coffee stained paper.
Flower punch: EK Success, Leaf die: Elizabeth Design. (Scraps)
For the closure I made a hole on the front and tied a piece of cotton yarn.

And here is the tag for the chair:

  1. Fantastic!! I love that you've upcycled the tags Liv, that's a great idea and wonderful for the environment. The closure you added is awesome... I haven't seen one quite like that. I'll definitely be adding that idea to my book.
    Cheers,
    Beccy
