Sunday Smiles - Purple Carrots


 Did you know that thousands of years ago carrots were originally purple and yellow?  This article explains it.  They were eventually cultivated by the Dutch to become more disease resistant and carrots became orange.

Yes, I did know about the others. It's ashame that we don't have more of these. Easy to grow at home, thankfully homesteaders keeps these fun things alives.
