Morning readers,
I've a make to share with you today ... an Artist Trading Card, measuring just 3½" x 2½", you know? I sometimes forget just how much I like to play with inks as well as stamps.
Materials used:
- ATC blank
- Snippets of card in white and black
- On the white snippet I stamped the Paper Artsy script (from ELB30) using Versamark embossing ink before sprinkling with WOW! Superfine clear gloss embossing powder and heat setting
- Using a blending mat I smooshed (in turn) Distress Oxides in kitsch flamingo, Candied apple and black soot, spritzing each colour with water first and drying between layers - until I was happy with the colour
- Paper Artsy foliage image (also from ELB30) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink - I used my MISTI for this as I thought I would need a second impression to ensure even coverage, because of the embossed script ... didn't feel it needed a sentiment ... am I wrong?

Such a beautiful and creative ATC Kathy. Love the colours used and the embossed script is just lovely. I agree it needs nothing more.

Such a beautiful ATC Kathy and the smooshed background is so pretty in those three colours and the embossed script really shows through, and finished with that wonderful Paper Artsy foliage image coordinating with the black card for the base layer. x
