FFO, Smiles And Help

With this straight face I join Nicole´s FFO - let´s stay weird!

And with this I join Annie´s Smiles

"Sanuli Gunarathna
I’m so proud of my son. He saw a kid, whose name I now know is Conner, balled up into a corner, crying. So, he went to console him, grabbed his hand, and walked him inside of the school!
What we didn't know was that he was autistic. His mother fears every day that someone will laugh at him because he doesn't speak correctly. Laugh at him because he doesn't sit still or because he jumps up and down and flaps his hands.
It is an honor to raise such a loving, compassionate child. He’s a kid with a big heart. The first day of school started off right.
Conner's reaction?
'He was so kind to me. I started crying and then he helped me. I was so happy! He found me and held my hand and I got happy tears.'
It doesn't matter, you know, color. It doesn't matter, gender. It doesn't matter, disability. Just be kind. Open your heart. That’s what we need in this world. One act of kindness can change someone's life.

And this, ...

Sadly there was no embed-functionality...

And some funnies...

How do the trousers stay in that place, how does he walk, can he run?

In case you are not familiar, this is from the great series Supernatural.

Henry 🦁

Hope you found a smile or laugh, too, happy Friday

LOVE the panther. Just awesome, Iris.

What a wonderful story about the autistic child. Kindness takes so little time, yet means so much to some.

My favorite funnies are the missing sausages in the fridge and the spam maps. Have a super weekend, dear.

Very good link to Nicole's FFO!!
I like the Pink Panther you did.
When I was a child we watched a lot on TV,
it was something pleasant without violence!!
Oh, how to fit into your pants again...
Thanks for your post about embracing diversity.
It is necessary to educate people from a young age.
Have a nice day!

Elizabeth, thank you, let´s stay weird!
And kind! To a great and here long weekend (despite the cold weather).

Katerina, yes, we watched as kids, too :-)
And yes to education and I think kids that age just take diversity mostly as given. At least even younger ones do.
To a nice day!

These were great jokes, Iris. I saw a young guy with his pants like that yesterday. It is not an attractive look.

A great post. I love your art, the little boy helping the other, the young boy telling and the teen how to pull up his pants. So many faces too. Thank you for sharing with FFO and have a great weekend.

Yes, let's stay weird! What a good drawing!
And a lovely story about human kindness. Children really can teach us sometimes.
As for the trousers... what can I say... any minute now....!
I love your funnies, especially the one about the sausages. The 5G joke is dangerous. I have a friend who firmly believes 5G is a conspiracy to kill us all and she would happily cut off her tire valve!
The laughing lions are great!
Have a great weekend,
Lisca
