Morning readers,
Hope you've had a good week. Mine's been an "interesting" week, lunch with a pal on Monday, walking was extremely painful. A&E Tuesday, yes, it was THAT painful! Lunch with friends on Wednesday (we were going to take the bus but had to abandon that option in favour of taking the car and dropping me right outside!) and a playdate with a "new to crafting" pal on Thursday. Although walking remains pretty painful (but easier now I have a stick!) driving short distances is not!
I've a make to share with you today ....... this was as a result of the playdate (more on that further down this post)

Yesterday I was crafting with a friend, we had decided to have a stencils/ink playdate. I'm the one with the craft supplies as my pal is just getting in to crafting so, it was down to me to provide supplies. Now, GETTING them to my pals wasn't so much of a problem but .... I'm currently using a stick to get about, which presented an interesting set of problems with loading and unloading my craft goodies but, I'm no quitter! In the end, hubby had business close by so, he delivered me AND my stash! We had a blast - thanks Naomi!

LOVE PLAY DATES with friends. Looks like lots of fun was had and some GREAT results. The card you've made with one of your pretty backgrounds is just GORGEOUS.
Hope you stop hobbling soon and can dispense with the stick. xxx
I love the background you made for your pretty die cut flower Kathy, and some fun crafting with your friend Naomi and more beautiful backgrounds to come I think. Sorry to hear you have a painful leg and hope it soon improves. x
Love your cards and the backgrounds you all made. Hope that leg is soon on the mend.
1st off, I hope you are starting to feel some relief from the pain. 2nd, I do believe your Crafty Date was a success, the smile on your friends face says it all. I love seeing others taking up this hobby that we love so much. Thanks for sharing your sweet card with us at The Paper Funday Challenge. We hope you'll share again soon.
