I count this wall as mural.
Right?
And the man there... that is Ingo.
I always have to be QUICK!!!! (Glad my cam broke and I got a new one that IS indeed quick)!
A real mural on the way with meeting our host Sami:
As you can guess I found no sign of the artist in this "tempo".
Which is sad as in Perth you usually find the names (in Germany it is not legal other you go through .... blablabla.)
But it is nice, huh?
This is for Sami´s COLOURFULWORLD Monday Murals.
Henry 🦁
Expect MANY more murals from Perth & Suburbs!
They are all so beautiful!
Sami might give you the names of the artists as mostly I had Ingo on my back or shot from friend´s cars...
Blame the TIME.
5+ weeks is NOT enough!!!!
I still can´t believe we went from "cool" 38C/100F to 2C/35F.
I feel cold. And I miss you all!!!!
I miss you all.
Let´s hope it´s not another 5 years.
(Our dear host was here visiting inbetween with Hubby and Daughter, but still...)
P.S. Our host could help:
Her name is J.D. Penangke, (real name Jade Dolman) a young Aboriginal
artist. Her mother is Narelda Jacobs, a Channel 10 Perth, newsreader.

I like that mural very much, it is so colourful. It made me smile. Maybe next time you can plan a longer holiday?
Love it!
I can tell you who painted it :) Her name is J.D. Penangke, (real name Jade Dolman) a young Aboriginal artist. Her mother is Narelda Jacobs, a Channel 10 Perth, newsreader.
It's a lovely and bright mural. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Iris.
River, glad you like it. 6 weeks is maximum in our company, sadly - but luckily I was allowed. I was even in their ESE-news with it I found out today!!!

Bettie, yes, so beautiful.

Sami THANK YOU! :-) I suppose I will need your help more often!
Hello Iris,
Beautiful mural, it is so colorful.
Henry is beautiful too.
Take care, enjoy your day and have a great week ahead.
...perhaps by Jade Dolman, a Whadjuk, Ballardong, Arrernte artist specialising in murals and public art in Boorloo/Perth, Western Australia?
I agree with you that seeing murals when you are busily running from one thing to another or in a fast-moving car or bus is beyond frustrating. I'm glad you did get some shots of the ones in Perth.
best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
A wonderful mural. The red with white dots reminds me of your gurri.
I like the bright colours which we need at this time of year. It is cold but sunny here this morning.
Good murals!
Eileen, thank you. I hope the jetlag goes away quickly.

Tom, Sami gave the answer :-)

Mae, yes, Ingo is always in a hurry, also on holiday...

CJ, Gurri says thank you! Indeed she was with me on the train from Adelaide as summer-version, a dress I got from Ingo!

RedPat, yes to this! Tea, tea, tea it is...

Christine, way more to come!
I remember how cold it was in Munich in Dec 1969-Feb 1970. Brrr. Hate cold weather, too, Iris.
I really like the mural. I don't have but 2 in my town but when we go to Eugene there are lots. We just can't stop to get a photo of them. Too much traffic. Have a great day today.
gigi, yes, I hate the cold!

Nicole, oh, sad you cannot stop there!
I love the murals you found-are you home now?
Bright and colourful!
