Monday - Look out! Here comes another week!

Morning readers,

Hope you all had a great weekend. I've been full of cold for much of the past week and coughing for England ... this was a rare type of cold(for me) as it was very "chesty" and I've been coughing so hard it hurt to breathe - SOOO not sorry to be feeling better!!! Long and the short of it has been that I've not gone anywhere or seen anyone so, on Saturday, a visitor (in the form of SD#2 and the lovely hound, Riddick) was more than welcome. She stopped by for a catch up over a drink which turned in to dinner - a lovely impromptu afternoon/evening. Riddick is SUCH a handsome boy, and his fur is so shiny... check him out, practising his snoozing!

This is not a NEW pic but is (IMHO)
a rather a special pic of him

Back to the crafting .... whilst feeling decidedly sub-par, I found myself sat at the computer and pondering the purchase of some white card and I found that Lime Tree Crafts had an amazing discount on 300gsm white card, well, colour me keen so I placed my order. Didn't really think it through ... until I got the Fed-Ex confirmation of shipping, apparently, my delivery will weigh in at SIXTEEN KGS?!!!! Guess I won't be needing any white card for a while to come then - darn cold remedies!!! Of course, the REAL issue here is .. where the heck I'm going to put it all!! I may have to use it as a coffee table for a while!

I've a make to share with you today ....... Quick, Clean And Simple - just like me!!!
My C6 card

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, C6 card and matching envelope
  • Card in white and red, for my card front, insert and matting

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-

Lovely CAS make Kathy, love the vibrant stencilling with the silhouette flower. Glad you’re feeling better .. sounds like you went to town on the stamping card, perhaps you should set up your own shop 🤣🤣

Sorry to hear you have been poorly with a chesty cough and cold Kathy, and glad that you are now a lot better. Great to have some company on Saturday to cheer you up including the lovely Riddick. I love the red and black on the white card and a very pretty die cut flower in grey over the red diminishing rectangles, and a nice big 'Happy' in black to go with the red 'birthday', and a red matted layer too..a great CAS card. x

Your QACAS card is a happy one in red, white, and grey, Kathy! I'm sorry to hear you had such a bad cold with lots of coughing! EVERYTHING hurts when you have to cough that hard, so I'm glad to hear you're feeling better.

As for Riddick - very handsome! We had a beautiful black lab for 16 years, so I have a real soft spot for them. Enjoy your new coffee table!🤣Hugs, Darnell

Love how you used just a portion of the background stamp and the black and red just pop. Thank you for sharing your work on the AAA Cards Challenge.
