A (Sami-) Potpourri

Pic taken on the way to Perth from a CAT to meet our host after her work day.
Mentioned before, but maybe you missed it,Wiki says:

"The Perth Central Area Transit (Perth CAT) system, or simply CAT... Unlike all other Transperth services, most CAT routes are free."

Here are mural-details:

To be honest I don't understand the infos, help is welcomed!

 The title? Wiki (again) says:
"Potpourri is a mixture of dried, naturally fragrant plant materials used to provide a gentle natural scent, commonly in residential settings. It is often placed in a decorative bowl."

Funny enough btw it is also:
"Pot-Pourri (group), an Australian opera/musical theatre group"!

I dry. After a spider  bit me and only thanks to our host I did not end up in hospital...
I had to attend... let us start, well, yes, with the icky part!
On Friday we all (minus Ingo) went to Sculpture by the Sea (pics to come when I have proper gear "at home") , I went into the sand and....

Either my sun allergy hit again after 1995 (unlikely !!!) or some other darn insect got me, as Sami assumed! My whole body looks still like this, itching like crazy. My face, too (belongs to the body, right).
I now have an idea in how much pain  people with Neurodermitis or Atopic dermatitis are, it is truly horrible!

To not let you wonder (and to refer to my second love in last post, this is a partner tattoo (Ingo has his on his chest):

Yes, that is from a DVD/CD-set showing Freddie Mercury.
I don't wanna brag, but I have to:
Ingo is like Freddie a bit. He can do magic in electronics and he his (not that rich but) as generous. He never forgets the "little people", he does the little things like helping prams into a bus, open a door etc, etc...He can be a pain, too. Can't we all?

Freddie??? Yes, his best was in the 1970's and what did our host's Hubby  give me???

The most "coolest" beer I have EVER seen.
Grace  and Pat just the other day took us to 1950's-1970's heaven and promptly the night after I dreamed we moved into a bigger condo and I was able to accept the old sofa from our parents!!!

And then this!!!

 And yes:

 And the-hennnn!

Those who know me... I am not a big eater, but.... I had a second helping!
To all of you who missed Sami's one day belated Birthday-Party:Sorry!
Also such amazing people and Sami came up ... uuups ...haha, I bet I went shopping for this with my name-tag still on!!!!

Thank you,Sami, this helps!!!
As did the name tags!

Read here, if you like, about what Grace did to me with my name! 😅

Henry's 🦁  alter Perth-ego,the Black Swan 🐣:

As our pool here is green and Pat suggested I should not hop in (which I would not even if I was healthy but I look  BAAAD) I'll take a shower and Ingo will help me with my back.
Even my EARS are itching like crazy!!!

Why, I wonder? Why do insects hate me so much this time? NEVER happened before (minus sandflies in 1999).

It looks like sand fleas got you. There are times when they are plentiful and times when there are none. But don't ask me when or when not, I have no idea.
I hope it all goes away quickly. Along with the spider bite, the holiday has not been so good this time. But you have weeks left still?

A great mural find Iris, lots to discover :)
Hope the Calamine lotion is helping with the itching. I remember using it when the kids had chicken pox :)
Thanks for coming by to my birthday lunch and thanks for participating in Monday Murals.

What a bummer to have these reactions on your trip, Iris. I hope it is better each day as the effect of whatever it is wears off.

Iris, I'm catching up on your blog and I had no idea till now about your other bites. That has to be absolutely miserable. I'm so sorry and hope by the time you read this comment you are feeling much better -- and a lot less itchy.
