Morning readers,
When do YOU put up your decorations? I've gotten in to the habit of doing ours just before the first weekend in December, why is that? Well, I usually have a Christmas meal with a pal and a cousin and my cousin usually stays overnight so ... up they go, to get us in the festive mood! It was Saturday and the three Amigo's had a Christmas meal at a local hostelry ... more later!
I've a make to share with you today ....... this was made with the theme of: NEW Year/Start/Stash .. I went with new stash, since I happened to have some!

Materials used:
- ATC blank
- Snippets of card in white and black
- Penny Black "Joy Joy" (3017-F) stamped several times using Memento gray flannel ink
- Using an acrylic block I "smooshed" a combination of Distress Oxide in crackling campfire (NBUS) and kitsch flamingo over my stamped panel before drying with a heat gun
- MFT sentiment (from CS.794 - "everything wonderful" - Nov 2023 - NBUS) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
- Tsukineko "shimmer spritz" sprayed lightly over the finished ATC
I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
- NBUS - challenge No. 57 - USE NBUS
- A Perfect Time To Craft - December challenge - ANYTHING GOES
- Leanne's World - challenge No. 67 - ANYTHING GOES
- Creative Fingers - challenge No. 267 - ANYTHING GOES
And now, since it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! - here are some pix of a couple of festive get togethers .....
And a day out at the Christmas market, with the Surrogates

Beautiful ATC. Love the rich colour and the shimmer.
Looks like some fun get togethers.
Happy Monday xxx
I love the colour of the ATC you got from combining the two. Oxide inks Kathy, and the 'joy' stamped over it in the Gray Flannel ink fades into the background perfectly, and then the added sentiment in black looks great. Some lovely photos of your get togethers too. x
