Friday Art - Pink Grasshopper

Welcome to Friday Art!  This is my pink grasshopper ACEO (2 1/2" x 3 1/2").  Yes, they do exist, thanks to a genetic mutation.  There are not many of them and their chances of survival are diminished due to their lack of ability to blend in or camouflage.

Poor grasshopper. I remember Flip, a green one with a chapeau, a character in Bee Maya.

Lovely drawing, Christine. If they are as fast as the green ones, they have little to worry about, at least by humans!! That is a great face.

Lindo saltamontes. Te mando un beso.

I can see how the predators would spot the pink grasshopper much more easily than a green one. It is certainly an interesting mutation.

I have a million grasshoppers in my yard but so far no pink one but I am looking for that one. That will be a fantastic prize.
