LAZ: I caught a birdie. But TBT wasn't happified about it. It was one he likes. But I can't really tell them apart. For me, it is mostly if a stoopid one comes within reach. Seriously, we cats only catch the stoopid ones...
He says it was a bloobird. OK, sure I saw it was bloo. I know some colors. Mostly yellow/green/blue. TBT says there are others. And Ive learned what he calls "red" is a particular shade of grey and I can tell some difference in that.
But it was a tasty one. better than the canned food (which I also love).
I ate the whole thing! Well, OK, I left the feet an a few fevvers...
Oh, dear, poor Birdie...Stick to mousies, OK, Laz!?!
ReplyDeleteWell done, Laz although I can understand TBT not being happy about it. Eric was the bird catcher here. Once he caught one he clamped his jaws around it and no-one was taking it away!
ReplyDelete... bye, bye birdie ... a bird in hand ... all that stuff ... for Laz, one's the same as t'other ...
ReplyDeleteWe pretty much leave all the birds alone, but you are right Laz the ones that a cat can catch are pretty stupid. I mean they can FLY! Have you ever seen a flying cat? But Mom likes them so it makes her sad if we catch them and there are some birds that can eat cats? so avoiding BIRDS is a good thing. We have Geese (vicious creatures) Hawks and Owls. ~Yang
ReplyDeleteI'll tell you Laz...mom never liked when Robin caught one. Robin was our last indoor-outdoor cat. She caught a baby bluejay fledgling and mom and the boys ran as fast as they could off the deck, thru the house and down to where she was. She was being hammered by the parents!!! We got the fledgling away and the parents weren't going to shrug it off. We got Robin in too before she was pecked badly. .
ReplyDeleteYou did indeed Laz, you did indeed!
ReplyDeleteOooh - that doesn't look tasty at all, Laz. I'm glad you didn't eat the feet!
