I've a make to share with you today ....... this post contains what, for me, is a DREADED theme .. the OLC (One Layer Card) - I'm normally a matting and layering kind of gal but ... not allowed! I can't tell you how many times I've looked at the LIM theme and gone off and made a card BEFORE realising those all important words One Layer were part of the challenge - DOH! Bit like make a card for a birthday challenge that evolved in to a Christmas card then? Yep, done that too ... and I've felt just as dumb about it. So, this week - did I succeed?

Materials used:
- White, 250gsm, C6 card and matching envelope
- Woodware images (from FRB003 - 2023 - NBUS) stamped using Versafine Clair cheerful ink
- CAS-ual Friday sentiment (from WTF) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
- Inkadinkado floral (from 60-30496) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
- Crystal stickles to bling up the foliage
I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-

You absolutely did succeed Kathy, your card is beautiful. I'm glad I'm not the only one who starts off making a card for a challenge, only to forget the occasion I'm making it for and make it for something completely different. xx
You certainly have succeeded Kathy, as this is extremely pretty and love the bright yellow texture background and frame around the sentiment, with the added floral in black..very striking. I'm not sure why but at present the new LIM challenge doesn't seem to be up and your link brings us to the previous challenge...obviously a blip in the system somewhere. x
you caught it in time ;-) I lie OLC challenges as you know. Love your card too, I can see the yellow and the flowers of the photo op

I have to take a minute because that sweet dog reminds me so much of our beloved Shadow. Thank you for sharing. What a blessing to be able to dog-sit him! As for your OLC, yes, good job, Kathy, you definitely succeeded! I think we've all had the card gods take over our makes and suddenly we realize we've gone down a different road than we intended, lol! Way to keep on track and follow the brief to a T!
