Toronto air quality is the worst in the world at the moment due to wildfires to the north of our province. It is in the world news. There is a haze over the city and there is a smell of smoke when you step outside. Hopefully things will improve in the coming days. The wildfires are still going.
that is cool!
ReplyDeleteA fun painting! Hope it rains SOON!
ReplyDeleteLove your art. We saw it on the news here, it must be terrible. Stay safe! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteLooks like angry capsicum.
ReplyDelete...hot peppers?
ReplyDeleteThe peppers seem to be commenting on the smoke from the wildfires also.
ReplyDeleteSo sad to hear what is happening. Another reason to keep those masks handy. Stay well. Thanks for the wonderful art piece. All the best to your weekend!
ReplyDeleteHope you guys are doing OK. Hopefully, the wild fires will be out soon. A lot of devastation.

Peppers with a smile
ReplyDeleteOh I love this painting today. Great faces for FFO. Thank you for joining in. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting art project! I hear that the smoke and haze are really bad from these fires and that the air quality is horrible in places. I am thankful that we only have a bit of it.
ReplyDeleteAwful air quality for North America. Here in Hawaii, we have to deal with Kilauea Volcano, which is erupting again.
ReplyDeleteWe need some major weather systems with lots precipitation.
ReplyDeleteThat is really cute!
ReplyDeleteI hope the rain is helping.
Luv your scowling peopers. Happy you linked to AFFF.
ReplyDeleteMuch💚love
Love these scowling peppers. Hope it rains in Toronto soon

ReplyDeleteI've seen the orange sky on the news, must be awful to breathe.
The bad air quality is definitely in the news.

ReplyDeleteThose wildfires have been horrid, Christine. I do hope the smoke clears out soon!

Love the peppers.
ReplyDeleteYes, you were in the news here with that. Scary.
The fires and bad air quality is on our UK news.
ReplyDeleteHope everything improves soon.
All the best Jan
Your art speaks to how you must feel about the air quality and the roaring forest fires. So sad, but makes me angry too that people aren't more conscientious about global warming. They say it would take a KN100 mask to protect against the fine particles in the air ... do be careful, Christine.

The peppers are angry, and I don't blame them. I hope the fires end soon!!
ReplyDeleteHi Christine,
ReplyDeleteFirst, thanks for coming over to Marmelade Gypsy. I'm sorry you've been dealing with the air quality which was even worse than ours in Michigan (which was one too good). I hope it has eased for you by now.
I love your faces -- that's fun -- seeing them on "the Peppers."
Fun painting. We had the worst smoke ever.
ReplyDeleteOMGoodness, How did I get so far behind? I LOVE those peppers and their cute faces.
