Monday and the start of a fresh week - ENJOY

Morning readers,

Hopefully, you all enjoyed your weekend and have arrived at Monday refreshed and raring to go .. yeah, right ... me too! Of course, who did her washing on Saturday, with no hope of line drying any of it? That would be me! Who woke up to a gorgeous sunny day on Sunday? That would also be me!! Ooopsie!

I've a make to share with you today ....... measuring just 3½" x 2½" I enjoy the small scale of them. The image panel was, originally, going to be a card topper but ...... an ATC just sort of developed.

My finished ATC
And a closer view of my image panel

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippets of card in black, red and white
  • Aall & Create image (from set #122) stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Derwent Inktense pencils used (water colour style) to colour my image and surround
  • On the larger white snippet I used a makeup brush and Memento ladby ink to stencil and "chess board" background with my That's Crafty dinky stencil (tc016)
  • Black sharpie pen used to edge all layers

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Snippets Playground - challenge No. 448 - USE SNIPPETS

  5. Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - challenge No. 200 - ANYTHING GOES

And now for a card .....

My 6" x 4" card

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, 6" x 4" card and matching envelope
  • Card in black and white
  • Snippet of white card, for my image panel
  • Glitter tape
  • Crafty Individuals image (CI-113 from Jan 2023) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • Derwent Inktense pencils and a waterbrush used to colour my image
  • Elsewhere on my card I also stamped a Woodware sentiment (from JGCL560) using Versafine Clair nocturne ink

PS, I was lucky, dried a line full of towels Sunday. Just as well it's soaking wet here again today.

LOVE the chess ATC. Great image and background.

LOVE how you coloured the flower image on the card too. Really vibrant.

Thanks for coming to play in the SNIPPETS PLAYGROUND. Once you’ve finished playing on the swings, meet me and Di up in the Treehouse for a nice mug of hot chocolate! xxx

I love the look of this layered ATC and the colours are great Kathy with the stencilled squares inn the background and another of the wonderful chess pieces, and then a card with such a prettily coloured CI image, and love the added glitter tape and complementary black matted layer. x

Two super makes, the first with a definite masculine feel and the second perfectly feminine and lovely contrast of colour.

Thanks so much for joining in our February challenges at Stamping Sensations and We Love Stamping.
