Morning readers,
Cold enough for you all this week? We've not actually had any snow but that's (I think) because it's been too cold to snow at times - my car has only been frost free for a short while and that's only because I defrosted it to go out! Brr ... frankly, it's been a perfect excuse to stay in and craft ... except, I've gone to my ToC (Table of Craftiness) several times and left without producing much!! Maybe that's because I was desperate to start a book a pal gave me for Christmas ... Richard Osman's "The bullet that missed" - anyone else read it? Reviews? I'm part way through but just can't get invested in anyone other than Elizabeth!
I did, however, stop at the ToC long enough to make a couple of things and I've a make to share with you today ....... I just LOVE this cat and thought he deserved dressing up (with his bow tie) to celebrate ... as Doctor Who says "bow ties are cool"!

Materials used:
- White, 250gsm, 3½" x 4⅞" card and matching envelope
- Card in white and navy
- Snippet of red card
- Washi tape
- Stampers Anonymous image and sentiment (from THMM109 - Apr 2022) stamped using Memento tuxedo black and Versafine Clair paradise inks
- Stampers Anonymous stencil (from THMM109 - Apr 2022) used with a makeup brush to apply Memento Paris dusk ink
- Marvy le plume II and Pro Markers, to colour my image
- Stampers Anonymous bow tie image (from THMM109 - Apr 2022) stamped on to my red snippet, using Memento tuxedo black ink and then fussy cut out before mounting on to my card with dimensional foam pads.

And now for an ATC, loving the scale of these and the fact they don't normally take too long - except for this one, but that was mostly because I used some glass bead glitter gel (fabulously sparkly) and it takes a time to dry!

Materials used:
- ATC blank
- Snippets of card in white and green
- Paper Artsy image and sentiment (from JM22) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
- Glitter brush pens (recently acquired from B&M) to colour along with the lavender pearl pan watercolour (also from B&M
- Using a makeup brush I used Memento bamboo leaves ink to add colour around the outer of my white snippet
- With my Dutchdoobadoo stencil (470.715.129) in place and using a palette knife, I applied Faber Castell glass bead glitter gel to my snippet

That’s a fun cat card and I love the glitzy ATC with the sweet vase of flowers.
LOVE the RO series of books. You’re starting with the latest one rather than the first 2. Elizabeth is intriguing isn’t she? But I like Joyce too - especially when she writes in her diary. For some reason I always give Joyce a voice like Mavis from whatever Soap she used to be in - Coronation St????? Xxx
Very funky cat card Kathy .. great image and stencilling. Love the intricate work on your ATC too .. it has really artistic look to it. I hope the weather will warm up soon .. we’ve had snow the past few days, and we got a fuel bill during the week covering Oct - mid Jan which was an absolute shocker!! I’ve only read the first Thursday Murder Club book, I’m currently reading some medieval murder mysteries set in my hometown of. Heaterfiekd which are very good

I too am in a book I con't put down!! Terri Blackstock's If I Run. Reading and Crafting are my vices...it could be worse!! I love love love your crazy cat!! And you have put this card together awesomely with the stenciling, coloring, and layering!! I love your cool cat with his glossy bow tie Kathy, and the stencilling looks great in the background, also the washi tape grounds him perfectly, and then the really sparkly ATC with the pretty glass bead glitter gel around the delightfully coloured flowers which obviously have a shimmer to them too, and finished with that lovely softly blended green background and added sentiment. x
