Yes finally I was a little busy yesterday – Arkansas Traveler now has all the blocks done – I need to look color over and decide if it stays as is or try to rearrange one block here and there without then having to move 10 others!

Now because obviously the table and the quilting frame cut off the ends of the design wall here are a couple other photos where I tried to get those ends – impossible! Left side. Linking to Wendy’s Quilts and More today

And the binding got done on Butterflies in Flight

Almost forgot the label – I get these from an Etsy shop made to order. I add the year finished with a sharpie – I’m not picky about adding a lot of info – on the back of the label are simple washing instructions.

Not much quilting got done on Rainbow Crossings the night before – I was very tired.

So today I will wash Butterflies in Flight and try to get some photos outside if the weather cooperates. I will try to rearrange color on Rainbow Crossings with out changing placement of every single block in it – I would like to get Rainbow Crossings as a finished top by the end of the month and then start on finishing up another of the RSC tops from last year. The goal this year is to finish last years tops started.

Scrappy binding is perfect for the butterflies quilt. Arkansas traveller is certainly pushing the limits of your design wall.
Congrats on finishing off the Butterflies quilt. Arkansas Traveler is definitely colorful. Hopefully you are close on the final layout. You’ve made a lot of progress and January isn’t over yet.
I like the idea of washing instructions on a label. I put them on too but do it all by hand. What is the Etsy site?
Your Arkansas Traveler blocks are just gorgeous with all their color! Such a great idea to add the lighter shades this month. The preprinted labels look so easy to sew in to the binding – I’ve never ordered any like that, but really should. What shop do you get yours from?
Yay!! Congrats!! I think the label is perfect!
I think Arkansas Traveler looks pretty good as is.
Arkansas Traveler is a real beauty! Yay for getting all the blocks done. I’m really loving the rainbow binding on butterflies. I may need to do that on my RSC 2022. (I need to think of a name for that one.) Oh cool about buying the label. I’m usually too lazy to make a label, so it doesn’t get done. Do you mind sharing the Etsy shop where you buy yours?
Congrats on the finish – can’t wait to see it! I like that label, I really should get some.
Love the Arkansas Traveler quilt and especially love the comment about moving one block without having to move 10 others! That really resonates with me. 🙂
Well done on completing all the blocks. I often find rearranging the blocks for a good colour distribution quite trying.
Hooray on finishing the binding. The printed labels are what I do on most of my quilts, my documentation is in my blog….I should start downloading it in a book format, but haven’t. One day……..
