Morning readers,
And it's the first full weekend, post-festivities ... feeling flat or got plans? I've a friend who's over from the U.S. right now but returning home on Monday so I guess she'll be packing. And, of course, she'll be trying to shoehorn those family gifts in to her suitcase too! Good luck Angela, safe flight to you, so very glad we got the chance to meet up whilst you were here.
Here's hoping that your Christmas and New Year celebrations went well and you are all set for a super 2023. You taking your decorations down today? Or, perhaps they're already down? We usually take ours down the first weekend of the New Year but ..... that would have meant New Years day. Ours came down on the Monday instead! Looks bare, doesn't it?

Materials used:
- White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
- Card in white and navy, for my card front, insert and matting
- MFT images/sentiment (from CS.348 "Deck the howls" - October 2019) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne and paradise inks
- Faber Castell polychromos pencils and sharpie pens used to colour my image
- Crystal stickles to sparkle up the "snow" and "fur trim"

Aww what a cute Christmas card Kathy - love that cute doggie! We were away over Christmas but the decs came down yesterday (5th) - never leave them up past Twelfth Night as I'm superstitious like that ... my husband JUST managed to get the fairy lights down from the bush outside last night before the heavens opened!! Hope you've had a great Christmas and new Year, and I have spotted your FB Messenger DM ... now I'm back I will reply soon

Took our decorations down today and yes the place does look bare. Have retired upstairs to my craft room which always looks a mess anyway so am fully at home in there. your doggy christmas card is cute. Hugs Mrs A.
Ours came down on Tuesday as we had visitors on Monday, when I was going to take them down. As for your fun sparkly dog and wonderful sentiment, I love it, it gave me a very broad smile. Thank you.
