Wednesday - don't worry, it will soon be the weekend!

Morning readers,

How's your week coming along? Ours is progressing reasonably well and we're cracking on with a few jobs resulting from the recent "weather"!

I've a make to share with you today ....... I have used this stencil a few times lately (having had it languishing in my collection for FAR too long!) and IMHO it lends itself to being used with two ink colours too - how do you like this colourway?

My 3½" x 4⅞" card

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, 3½" x 4⅞" card and matching envelope
  • Card in white and deep purple, for my image panel, insert and matting
  • With my Dylusions half circle stencil taped in place, I used makeup brushes to apply Distress Inks in picked raspberry and the GORGEOUS wilted violet - blending the colours at the "join"!
  • Paper Artsy foliage image (from ELB30 - from Dec 2021) stamped using Versafine Clair morning mist (grey) ink
  • Clearly Besotted sentiment (from Brushed sentiments - from May 2021) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne and purple delight inks
  • Finally, a quick spritz of Crafters Companion spray and shine to seal and protect those pesky water based inks!

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Addicted to Stamps - challenge No. 438 - ANY OCCASION
  2. Pammie's Inky Pinkies - challenge No. 2240 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. A Place to Start - challenge No. 102022 - CIRCLES and/or SQUARES
  4. AAA Birthday - challenge No. 42 - A FAVOURITE TECHNIQUE (in my case - stencilling)
  5. Dare2BArtsy - October challenge - FAVOURITE COLOUR (in my case - PURPLE x 2)

And I've another card to share with you today, this time using a brand new sentiment but a pretty elderly image!

My C6 card
And a closer view - to show the glossy dimension

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
  • Card in white and pastel blue, for my card front, insert and matting
  • Dylusions image (from DYB40873) and Simon Says Stamp sentiment (from SSS101328 - stash so NBUS as it only arrived on Friday!) stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Peerless water colour paints to colour my circles
  • Mod Podge dimensional gloss applied to my circles, to give them dimension, shine and added interest

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. NBUS - challenge No. 43 - USE NBUS
  2. Colour Crazy - challenge No. 39 - ANYTHING (hand coloured) GOES
  3. Seize the Birthday - challenge No. 248 - ANYTHING GOES + (optional) CLEAN AND SIMPLE
  4. Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - challenge No. 191 - ANYTHING GOES
  5. HLS - October WATER COLOUR challenge - ANYTHING GOES

Oh my goodness I just adore both cards in this post.

Love the colours of your stencilling in the first one and, well, the second card is fantastically CAS. I might just have to pinch that idea from you if you don’t mind!! Xxx

These circles look great in pink and violet Kathy, and the foliage looks so pretty over the top, and the second with the row of glossy circles in those pretty colours with your new SS sentiment...very CAS but a super design. x
