Super Saturday!

Morning readers,

As we hurtle towards the Bank Holiday weekend - I hope you all have something nice to look forward to ......

I've a make to share with you today .......

My C6 card
And a closer view of my double sided vellum panel

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
  • Card in white and pearl cream, for my card front, insert and matting
  • Using a nesting square die, I die cut a 2½" square aperture in my card front panel
  • Snippet of vellum cut slightly larger than my aperture
  • After dusting with pounce I stamped my ScappyCatz image (SCR912-E) using Versamark embossing ink before sprinkling with white embossing powder and heat setting
  • On the reverse side of the vellum I stamped the same image using Ranger Archival paradise teal ink
  • Clearly Besotted sentiment (from brushed sentiments) stamped using Versafine Clair morning mist ink

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-

And another card - a splatter "all occasion" card ...

My 3½" x 4⅞" card

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, 3½" x 4⅞" card and matching envelope
  • Card in white and mid blue, for my card front, insert and matting
  • Honey Doo image (from "Paint Splodges - from 2019) stamped using Versafine Clair paradise ink
  • PinkFresh sentiment (from PFSC0419) stamped using Versafine Clair twilight ink

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-

Very pretty vellum card Kathy - almost identical to what I had in mind with some Altenew leaf stamps I have. Will have to have a rethink as you've nailed it!

Two great cards, Kathy. I love your LIM card and was so glad you described the way you made it. I am going to have to CASE this one. Great color choice with the teal. It stands out beautifully behind the vellum. Thanks you always, for playing with us at Less Is More.

I saw that technique over on FB and thought I'd have a try but so far haven't done so. Yours looks so pretty I might have to get out the vellum!
Thanks for joining in at HLS Birthday. :)

Such a pretty technique and another really pretty look with the teal and white combination Kathy, and then the bright blue inky splatters look great with the added large sentiment on the second. x

Quite spectacular your two makes! Neat trick with the vellum to emboss the front and stamp the back. I love splatters on a card too! So happy you played along with Krafty Chicks Challenge this week.

Great that you gave us a description of your vellum make as your layers weren't all that obvious in the pic. Fab use of it though with your bold stamp and colour choice :)
Thanks for joining in with our challenge at Less is More.
