Morning readers,
Hot enough for you? Crikey, I am so not comfortable in this heat ..... yesterday it reached 29° and today is forecast to be even warmer. If anyone's looking for me, I'll be in the fridge! Stay cool peeps!
I've a make to share with you today ....... it's NOT Clean And Simple as per my more usual style but - I really LIKE it and I hope you will too.
I've a make to share with you today ....... it's NOT Clean And Simple as per my more usual style but - I really LIKE it and I hope you will too.
Materials used:
- White, 250gsm, 3½" x 4⅞" card and matching envelope
- Card in white and deep purple for my card front, insert and matting
- With my Dyan Reavely circles stencil taped in place and using a makeup brush, I applied Distress Ink in picked raspberry and wilted violet inks.
- Clearly Inspired foliage image (from LCS100 - "brushed flowers" dating back to pre 2016) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
- Using a snippet of white card I stamped my Clearly Besotted sentiment (from "brushed sentiments" dating back to May 2021) using my Versafine Clair nocturne ink. I then matted on to a snippet of deep purple card
- Since I had used water based Distress Inks, I gave it a quick spritz of Crafters Companion Spray and Shine to seal

It's getting a bit crowded in your fridge, but I think I'll just about fit in there too!

Your cards? Well I simply LOVE both of them. What a fabulous stencil you've used on the first one and the silhouette flower is perfect over the top of the background.

Two wonderful cards based on circles and love the DR split circle stencil, and the pretty silhouette flowers over the top, and then the bright blue, pink and yellow circle design on the second complemented by the matching blue mat in the background. Glad you enjoyed your bus trip and a look round the harbour in Bristol and a great photos including you enjoying a drink...cheers! x
