Monday and we're starting another week .....

Morning readers,

Hope you all enjoyed a great weekend and that the weather was kind to you too .. I HEAR we are set for a heatwave this week! Wonder if it will happen, if we do - I'm READY, though it MIGHT have been more appreciated whilst I was in bed with Covid as I just COULDN'T get warm! I'm normally one to be chucking off the bedclothes so it was quite a new experience to be chilly in bed, with THREE blankets AND a hot water bottle!

I've a make to share with you today ....... I recently saw someone selling the "urban landscapes" stamp set from FLONZ and thought "high time I used my own set of those" .... this is the result

My C6 card

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
  • Card in white and navy
  • Snippets of leftover card in white and navy
  • FLONZ image (from "urban landscapes - 2017) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • Clearly Besotted sentiment (from "brushed sentiments" - 2021) stamped using Versafine Clair twilight ink
  • Using a makeup brush and Memento Paris Dusk I add the "sky" including a rosy hue (Memento ladybug ink) to make it a little more welcoming!

I love the landscape silhouette Kathy and that subtle touch of red for the setting sun looks great, and then the wonderful mix of stamps with the rings and then the background chevrons and splats and such bright summery colours. Sorry that Covid made you take to your bed and feeling shivery and cold is not pleasant! I have been away so am catching up. x
