Saturday again - how's the weather with you?

Morning readers, 

After a couple of seriously hot work days, the weekend finally begins and .... yes, dull with showers in the forecast and 11° cooler than yesterday! .... not that I'm sad about it being a little cooler - TRUST ME! Hope the weather won't spoil any plans you  may have for the weekend.

I've a make to share with you today .......

My C6 ONE LAYER card

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
  • White card, for insert
  • Penny Black image (3867K "constellations") stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne and morning mist inks
  • Hero Arts sentiment (CL342) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne and morning mist inks
  • Faber Castell polychromos pencil in blue/violet, to add a little colour

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Simply Less Is More - challenge No. 467 - JUST ONE IMAGE - also ONE LAYER ONLY
  2. Crafty Gals Corner - challenge No. 232 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Krafty Chicks - challenge No. 616 - CAS (Clean And Simple)
  4. CAS on Friday - challenge No. 233 - CONDOLENCE
  5. Penny Black Saturday challenge - June challenge - ANYTHING GOES + (optional) TRANSPORT

I've another make to share with you today ....... as suspected, I just knew those brusho's would get another outing whilst I had the box out - this time turquoise!

My C6 card

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
  • Card in both white and cold press watercolour
  • Brusho (turquoise) sprinkled over my water colour card and spritzed and "smooshed" till I was happy with the look. Set aside to dry
  • Hero Arts image (from CL477) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne and morning mist inks
  • Ranger Letter It sentiment stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • Crafters Companion Spray and Shine spritzed over my water coloured card front, to protect it from the great British weather!
  • Blue sharpie used to edge my image panel
  • Dimensional foam tape used to attach my image panel to my card front

Really lovely CAS sympathy card. I always loved that PB stamp but never owned it!!! Still pretty all these years later.

Pretty ATC too. Glad you gave the brushos a good run xxx

This pretty floral makes the perfect sympathy card Kathy and I love the quite soft tones you used. The second is lovely and bright using the Turquoise Brusho and the silhouette leaves are beautiful. x

Another great CAS card! I take it back, now this is as CAS as they can get. One layer cards are difficult for me but this I can maybe pull off (if my brain will let me). Nice to see you again in the Krafty Chicks Challenge gallery.

Two lovely cards, Kathy! The first makes a perfect sympathy card with the sweet flowers and soothing colors! Love the turquoise Brusho background with the contrast of the black leaves! It's so nice to see your card in the PBSC gallery!
