I've a make to share with you today ....... using a sketch drawn by Chrissie Stokes, for a CAS Facebook group
Materials used:
- White, 250gsm, A2/C6 card and matching envelope
- Card in white and lilac
- Snippet of white card
- Using a makeup brush and Memento grape jelly ink I randomly coloured a panel, leaving the edges pretty fluid
- Overlaying my coloured panel with my Tim Holtz crocodile stencil (THS022) I applied a glue stick through the stencil. After removing the stencil I placed my sheet of gold foil over my "stencilling" and burnished firmly with my fingers before leaving it to dry before removing the foil - I LOVE the kind of random foiling effect this gives
- Prima Marketing butterfly image (from Finnabair 965389) stamped on to a snippet of white card, using Memento grape jelly ink
- Wink of Stella clear glitter gel brush pen used to add some sparkle to my butterfly before fussy cutting around the outer edge and creasing on the two sides of its body - I applied glue to only the body when adhering to my card thus giving "movement" to my butterfly

Loving the masculine card too using great papers and a brilliant image.

A very pretty look on your first with the purple strip and the the foiling alongside the beautiful purple outline butterfly and a great take on the sketch Kathy, and love the really elegant look of the masculine card with the grey and white and just a touch of vermilion for the diamond background stencilling. x
