Monday and a new working week begins ....

Morning readers, 

Here's hoping you all had a great weekend and that those pesky thunderstorms (if you had them) didn't disturb your plans too much.

I've a make to share with you today .......

My C6 card

Materials used:
  • White, 240gsm, A2/C6 card and matching envelope
  • Card in white and deep purple - for my card front, insert and matting
  • Using a makeup brush I applied a light covering of Memento grape jelly ink
  • Dylusions circles stencil then overlaid and another layer of the grape jelly ink applied
  • MFT sentiment (from CS-303 "Creative Expressions") stamped using Versafine onyx black ink


I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. HLS - May STENCIL challenge - ANYTHING GOES
  2. NBUS - challenge No. 38 - USE NBUS
  3. Love to Craft - challenge No. 68 - ANYTHING GOES
  4. Addicted to Stamps - challenge No. 429 - ANY OCCASION
  5. Moving Along With The Times - May challenge - BIRTHDAY


And now for a second card ..

My C6 card

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, A2/C6 card and matching envelope
  • Card in white and black for my card front, insert and matting
  • Snippets of card in white, grey and black for my image and sentiment panels
  • Kaisercraft images (woodgrain and marble) stamped using Ranger Archival watering can and cobalt blue inks
  • Tim Holtz sentiment (THMM109) stamped on to a snippet of white card using Versafine onyx black ink before cutting to size
  • Using a makeup brush I applied Distress Ink in barn door to my sentiment panel and my image panel
  • Using a makeup brush and my Dylusions circle stencil I applied Ranger Achival vermilion to my image panel
  • A quick spritz with Krylon matte fixative, to protect my water based inks

  5. Try It On Tuesday - May 3rd challenge - USE A STENCIL

It's my nephew's birthday today and also that of my neighbour - Happy Birthday Alex and Dawn - have a good one!

I also missed a hen night at the weekend (couldn't be helped, sadly) but it looks like a great time was had by all - congratulations - looking forward to the wedding

Those stencilled circles in the pretty purple and softly faded out work brilliantly as a background to your large birthday sentiment Kathy, and another great look on the second card using the same pretty circles with the two stamps stamps for an interesting textural effect, and layered onto black for makes the strip across the card really stand out..two beautiful cards! x

Two fabulous CAS cards, love this stencil and both cards turned out beautifully!
