Monday and another week begins ....

Morning readers,

Not only is it Monday but it's the 25th ... the day designated, by crafters, as RUDOLPH DAY - the day on which we produce a Christmas project in order to make Christmas less of a rush when the time comes!

I've a make to share with you today ....... a CAS Christmas card, gotta start early if you make a lot of Christmas cards! Being quick AND simple it would make a great batch - in case I run out of time, always good to have something like this in reserve ... just in case!

My C6 card
And a closer view, to show off the glitter

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
  • White card, for card front and insert
  • Uniko sentiment (from "Simply Said Christmas Wishes") stamped using Versafine Clair tulip red ink
  • Dimension Forth reindeer stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink, both 1st and 2nd generation impressions
  • Red sharpie to edge the card front panel
  • Dimensional foam tape, to attach the image panel to my card front
  • Crystal stickles to add some serious glitter to the reindeer!

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Scraps of Life - April Rudolph Day - ANYTHING CHRISTMAS GOES
  2. HLS - April CHRISTMAS challenge - ANYTHING GOES + (optional) GLITTER
  3. Crafty Hazelnuts - challenge No. 591 - ANYTHING CHRISTMAS GOES
  4. Krafty Chicks - challenge No. 608 - CAS (Clean And Simple)
  5. Peace on Earth - challenge No. 14 - ANYTHING GOES - PHOTO INSPIRATION

And now for an Artist Trading Card ...... measuring just 3½" x 2½"

My ATC
Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippets of leftover card in white and black
  • Kaisercraft images "woodgrain", "grid" and "rocks" stamped using Memento gray flannel and potters clay and Distress Oxide black soot
  • Tim Holtz image and sentiment (from Visual Artistry) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • Black sharpie pen used to edge both layers

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-

I didn't realize today is Rudolph Day. Unfortunately I've missed the opportunity to make a Holiday card, maybe I'll start within the next few months. Your ATC is sweet, I love silhouette images. Thanks for sharing your lovely project with us at The Paper Funday Challenge and we hope you'll visit us again soon.

A great CAS Christmas card and classic in red and black, and then your TH umbrella man always works well on an ATC, and a wonderful combination of stamps for the background. x
