Monday and a new week has hoved in to view!

Morning readers,

I've a make to share with you today ....... now, a week or so ago I rediscovered an elderly Stampotique barcode stamp and found it wasn't square on the wooden mount (hence having to layer it in my original post here, to cover up my wonky stamping). Whilst I was having a rummage last week I found another barcode stamp set - this time from Kaisercraft. This set was clear acrylic so any wonkiness would be entirely down to me! It also has words beneath the barcode (unlike the Stampotique image) so I thought I would have another go. I didn't want to do exactly the same so instead of the black/grey colour scheme I went with Kraft and brown however, I did make the mistake (?) of using the same fab sentiment (from Happy Little Stampers!). I hope you approve of the Mark II version of "the same but different"

My C6 Kraft card

Materials used:
  • Kraft, 300gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
  • Card in white and deep brown for my card front, insert and matting
  • Kaisercraft image (from Mister Fox - 05/2014) stamped using Versafine Clair pinecone ink
  • HLS sentiment (from Doodled flowers - 11/2017) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Krafty Chicks - challenge No. 599 - CAS (Clean And Simple)
  2. Water Cooler Wednesday - challenge No. 334 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Pammie's Inky Pinkies - challenge No. 2208 - ANYTHING GOES
  4. Seize The Birthday - challenge No. 233 - ANYTHING GOES + (optional) DICHROMATIC - I used Kraft and brown as black and white are allowed as "neutrals"
  5. Polkadoodles - challenge No. 8 - ANYTHING GOES

Here's my blk/grey Mark I version

I've another make to share with you today ....... an Artist Trading Card

My ATC, measuring just 3½" x 2½"

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippets of leftover card in cream and blue
  • Using a makeup brush I lightly applied Memento Paris dusk to most of my cream panel, adding more at the corners and outer edges
  • Blue sharpie used to edge both layers of card
  • Funky Fossil stencil (Make Your Mark III) honeycomb section used to apply more Paris dusk ink to the diagonally opposing two corners and the "stone" (from the same stencil) in the remaining two corners
  • StudioLight images (from SL341 and SL455) stamped using the Paris dusk ink
  • Stampin' Up sentiment (from Vertical Greetings) stamped using Versafine Clair paradise ink

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Lil Red Wagon - challenge No. 641 - MAKE IT MASCULINE
  2. HLS - Feb STENCIL challenge - ANYTHING GOES
  3. As You See It - challenge No. 268 - TECHNIQUES .. I love to layer stamps!
  4. Creative Fingers - challenge No. 225 - ANYTHING GOES

For those of you who saw my recent post regarding the Secret Santa gift of a "three meals for two people" delivery from Hello Fresh, we had the last of them at the weekend, posh sausage and mash! Deluxe sausages served with parsley mash, jerk vegetables and a mango gravy - it was delicious, thank you Santa!

Another great look using this Kaisercraft barcode and I love the word spelt out underneath, and then the very pretty coloured ATC and a wonderful combination of stamps and stencilling Kathy. The posh sausage and mash looks very yummy. x

Kathy, I love layering stamps as well! You've created a lovely vintage look here and I like that you've made it monotone! Thanks for sharing your favourite technique with us at As You See It Challenges!
