Friday and the weekend is upon us!

Morning readers,

I've a make to share with you today .......  a sort of "just because" card for a pal. I can share it as I know she has received it.

My C6 card
And a closer look at the detail

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
  • Card in white and pink - for my card front, insert and matting
  • Snippet of white card for my die cut "dancing lady"
  • Image and sentiment (bought from a retail outlet but which turned out to be a knock off of a set from S.U.) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne and charming pink inks
  • Die from the above set, used to cut out my stamped lady
  • Hero Arts sketchy circle (from AC026) stamped using Versafine Clair charming pink ink
  • Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour my die cut image

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. HLS - Feb DIES challenge - ANYTHING GOES
  2. QKR Stampede - challenge No. 438 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Ally's Angels - challenge No. 55 - ANYTHING GOES
  4. Krafty Chicks - challenge No. 599 - CAS
  5. WaterCooler Wednesday - challenge No. 334 - ANYTHING GOES

I recently "rediscovered" my barcode stamp so, whilst I had the image out ... it's time for an Artist Trading Card - deploying some more snippets. Sadly, the barcode image wasn't square on the wooden mount (probably explains why I haven't used it a lot) so I thought it was high time I removed it from the mount so I could get more use from it. Now, I've done this before, on numerous occasions, but I have NEVER had one peel off as quickly and cleanly as this one - BAZINGA! I now have it as an unmounted image, ready to slap on to an acrylic block (hopefully square!) and use again and again!

My ATC, measuring just 3½" x 2½"
Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippets of leftover card in deep brown, pearlised gold and cream
  • Stampotique "barcode" (16019 ..... not exactly sure how long I've owned it but definitely pre 2018) which I stamped using Versafine Clair pinecone ink
  • PRS sentiment (from "Positive Thoughts" - 2017) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • Brown sharpie pen, used to edge my cream and gold panels

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. A Bit More Time To Craft - Feb 15th challenge - ANYTHING GOES
  2. Papercraft Challenges - challenge No. 79 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Creative Crafters - challenge No. 49 - ANYTHING GOES
  4. TTCRD - Feb 15th challenge - ANYTHING GOES

Your card has the perfect image and sentiment to cheer someone along Kathy.

Well done on fixing your barcode stamp for future use. You've made a super ATC with it.

Hang on to your hat in this weather! xxx

I love this sweet and charming image Kathy and love the background sketchy circle which has a very pretty textural look, and the sentiment is great. The ATC using the barcode works brilliant here and love the sentiment too. I have a few PB wooden stamps and am thinking of taking them off the wood as I am very short of space and they would be easier to store, and seeing this I might give it a try. x
