"Girls"

There was a pizza place in there once, was yummy.
There is a mural of it, of course, from some students again, likely gone by now...

P lives nearby.
We only know each other via MS Teams thanks to Corinna.

I am afraid to meet her.
I had a friend in Perth, we got along so well. But when we met in person... he was... so distant. We did not click.

What if this happens with P - I know I have to find out, but I cannot force it, heart says... be happy with what you have, mills go slow.

Henry 🦁 - he says Thank you, Elizabeth!

Only virtual these days... years...
P is twenty years younger than me but acts like a Mum.
She has no kids (yet).
She is so strong and calls for help, too.

This mural now has a special meaning to me now in more than one way.

To friendship.

P.S. Last post was actually about the relationship between Ingo and I, but it made me smile how many took it to American Football, which is on all night here 😀
12 interceptions. Even if holding. Oh, it must hurt! I just wanted a peek, now I am hooked.

I can start later with work, bet P, who is married to a former Braunschweig Lions Football-player, might do the same anyways 😁
And .. ohhhh.  the comments.

AND!!! You know what I love about football? No aggression. Like chess, just in fast.
Some peeps cheering, some nearly crying, I know this, LOL.

"Zack". Need a hug? "All good".

The old mill building is very nice. Glad there was even a mural with the building.
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Iris.
Go and meet P, why not, I think between "girls" it's different, we are warmer :)

What Sami says... I totally agree with that

I worry about meeting blog friends too, because in reality I am much more quiet and shy than I am on the internet.

Sami, yes, come the day I will. You know me, I am an introvert....

Bertiebo, I hope so!

River, exactly my worry. Uh. I said "no worries" to a guy in South Africa. Guess he understood, but you Aussies sure make it even more complicated 🤣
Maybe I need a brolly later, too. Sad I can´t get an avo this arvo...

I suppose it's always uncertain as to how one will get along when meeting people one has only known on line. So far it has worked well for me, and I hope it will continue that way. One day COVID will end and we will be able to do more of it.

I think the football picture has to do with timing. It was just a little too close to the big loss. Some people do take their football seriously here. Funny how mill buildings look the same everywhere I guess. And yes, on line friends don’t mean you’ll get along in person. Some people may not be shy or quiet or not good talkers in person. It is indeed a strange thing how you can have friends in life and friends online. Have a great start to your week Iris. Hugs Erika

If it's any hope for you, Iris, all the people I've met online through the blog are "who they seem to be." I suspect it will be that way with P too, and I hope you will be able to meet her soon, even if it is outdoors at a safe distance with your masks. I do love that mill building.

Nice old mill. By all means go meet P. If you don't meet, you will never know. Heart warming pic of the hug.

I have met some blogger friends with their families and we spent good time together. With some of them we also ran together.
The old mill is very beautiful.

I love seeing old buildings re-purposed. It's hard when those businesses close.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Sometimes online relationships don't translate well into in-person relationships, but you'll never know if you don't give it a shot.

Hope that you do get to meet P and that you click.

The old mill building reminds me of the one in Brunswick, Maine. They put a market in them for the winter and there are a few restaurants. It's really nice seeing the old buildings still functioning in today's world.

It's not often I click with someone in person, sometimes I think we put on a different persona online to who we really are.

I love old industrial buildings that have been repurposed. The spaces are usually so interesting.

What a great looking building. And the big cat hug photo made me smile.

I've met a couple of bloggers. Both meetings went well.

Sorry I'm late vvisiting. Trying to catch up after getting errors all night long. That's a lovely mural and I wonder if the Mill has been turned into shops and tourist attractions.
