Morning readers,
Hope you are surviving the week and managing to keep warm too, been a bit parky hasn't it? Went out yesterday and actually got stopped by a fellow walker who suggested I might like to modify my route as it was particularly slippery just a short distance ahead - thank you for that.
I've a make to share with you today .......
I've a make to share with you today .......
Materials used:
- White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
- Card in white and yellow, cut to fit and mat
- Low tack tape, used to mask off my strip for inking
- Using an Aldi stencil brush I applied Memento dandelion ink to the entire panel and Memento tangelo ink top and bottom
- Overlaying my Dutchdoobadoo stencil (470.715.120) I applied a further layer of the dandelion ink, to add some "texture"
- Woodware foliage (from JGS439 the "small fennel") which I stamped using Versafine Clair monarch (purple) ink .. elsewhere on my card and envelope I used the same ink but 2nd generation impression, for a lighter colour
- Crafters Companion sentiment (from SS-GRT-OCC) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
- Love To Craft - challenge No. 66 - ANYTHING GOES
- HLS - Jan STENCIL challenge - ANYTHING GOES
- HLS - Jan CAS challenge - ANYTHING GOES
- CAS on Friday - challenge No. 222 - FEEL BETTER
- Aud Sentiments - challenge No. 290 - ANYTHING GOES + A SENTIMENT

A very striking card in the great colour combo of yellow and black. I like the fennel stamp. Great background inking too.
Happy Friday!

I like the combination of the yellow stencilling with the black, silhouetted stamp Kathy. Thanks for adding another fab CAS card to the HLS CAS gallery. :)
The black silhouette of the flower looks really nice against this beautiful stenciling background.
Thank you for joining our gallery at HLS CAS.
