Monday ... New Week, New Year

Morning readers, 

How was your weekend? Did you do anything nice to celebrate New Year? Our New Years Eve wasn't so very rock and roll ... we were tucked up in bed before midnight and with the usual firework display cancelled we DIDN'T get woken just before midnight as we usually do!! Got a bit bored on Sunday so took down the tree and lights etc, all boxed up and ready to back in the loft once we've taken down the outside lights (too wet to do yesterday!). My goodness, the place looks so bare now, this time yesterday it looked so festive and twinkly! 

I've a make to share with you today ....... for a change (lately) it's neither a Christmas nor thank you card!!! It does, however, deploy some more of my Christmas stash - YAY! So good to get it inky before I even put it away!

My C6 card

Materials used:

• White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
• Card in smooth white and textured mid blue, cut to fit and mat
• Paper Artsy stars and sentiment (from ELB30 - both images are NBUS) stamped using Versafine Clair morning mist and paradise inks
• Elsewhere on the card and envelope I used a Happy Birthday sentiment from Paper Artsy JOFY14 and stamped it using the morning mist ink
• To add a little bling I adhered a couple of faux crystal gemstones to the centre of a couple of the stars

I've another make to share with you today ....... I KNOW we're only JUST in to 2022 and this is an Easter Artist Trading Card but ... well, I have literally no excuse, it just happened!

Materials used:

• ATC blank
• Snippets of leftover card in black, white and textured yellow
• All Night Media "Big Bunny" image (363D) stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
• Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour image
• Stamposaurus "sunray" stencil and Aldi stencil brushes used to apply Memento dandelion, Ranger Archival vibrant fuchsia and majestic violet inks
• Clearly Besotted sentiment (from "brushed sentiments") stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
