Duck Gets (B)Eaten?

Does anyone know what kind of a bird I found on Saturday when marching through -1C on Celler Straße to LIDL?

Well, for a change (!!!) I even can say who created this beauty!

Artist Ente (Duck) gets some competition by...

He says on his site (available in many languages):
"Behind the name Streetart-BS stands the desire to make art in Braunschweig more visible and accessible to everyone.

Street art helps the environment of many people in a positive manner to change. By murals can be the cityscape enrich an artistic way , make it livelier and more varied. As an artist, I want to do my part."

And, boy, is he right, just see how this bird brightens up this dull place on a cold winter´s day:

Certainly, being a Braunschweig person he has a special model, do you have a guess?
Yes, of course, it´s...

A pig!!

...ummmm, no, wait, it´s...

Henry 🦁 (he brings you as much luck as pigs do, I bet!)

Well, he did, don´t you agree?

Sadly, he, as Ente, does not let you know on his Website where to find his art.
Reckon I have to walk a lot.
I hope those two both, side by side really make Braunschweig (even) more beautiful!
And, Henry,... don´t eat birds!

Certainly this is for  Sami´s COLOURFULWORLD Monday Murals.

A P.S to last post.... Erika just put it right with a good argument I lived from, also!
It really happened way more than once.
We sat on the balcony, warm summer´s night, listening via Ingo´s cool bat-device to, well, the bats, when suddenly... whooooooo, right in front our faces one of the very cute fellas elegantly snapped a mossie away!
One time not eaten up here, the mosquito was instead, so: YES to bats!

A kingfisher is a wonderful subject for street art! How lucky you were to come across it.

...Henry is NEAT!

As David G. says, kingfishers are wonderful birds. I always get excited when I see any of the numerous species of them worldwide.

So fun to see murals on buildings. While the bird is quite beautiful, Henry is just so handsome and elegant.

Beautiful murals but Henry rules!
The murals makes the buildings more beautiful and less impersonal.
