TGIF, the weekend is really close now!

Morning readers,

Had a lovely, leisurely lunch and catch up with crafting friends yesterday, it was just so nice for the three of us to get together and natter over a most enjoyable lunch and .... the venue was pretty much slap bang in the middle of the three of us too! Woo Hoo! Thanks for making the journey ladies, see you at the end of term!

I've a make to share with you today ....... regular readers may recall that I have recently rediscovered the joy of a sketch challenge. I found a group on Facebook which has published 20 or so and to which you can add your "entry" as and when. I've submitted several makes for the sketch below so it simply HAS to be one of my favourites, so versatile!

My C6 card

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
  • White card, cut to fit, for my image panel and insert
  • With low tack tape I masked off my chosen panel before lightly applying Ranger Archival majestic violet ink. Then, overlaying my stencil (TCW536S) I applied a further layer of the majestic violet ink, using a makeup brush
  • After removing my mask I stamped my Clearly Besotted sentiment (from "mini calligraphy") using Versafine Clair purple delight ink
  • I found an unknown leaves image (from a purchase way back in the early "noughties" when Stampfest on the Bay was held in a hall on Coachman in Clearwater, yes, that long ago) which I stamped using Versafine Clair monarch ink

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. AddictedtoCAS - challenge No. 209 - PURPLE
  2. Three Room Studio - challenge No. 57 - PURPLE
  3. Perfectly CAS - challenge No. 20 - SYMPATHY
  4. CAS Card Making - sketch challenge No. 20 - SKETCH ... see below
  5. HLS - October stencil challenge - ANYTHING GOES
