Monday and the first one in September ...

Morning readers, 

Guess September means schools heading back ... crane flies everywhere and misty mornings, a feeling of autumn in the air! I'm never really sure which season I like the best. I love the sunshine and lighter evenings but I also like the misty mornings and the chance to wear "sleeves"!

I've a make to share with you today ....... a scrapbook layout, they seem to be like buses, none for ages then two come along at once!! I DO like to scrapbook but I suppose I like to scrapbook like I make cards ... with the minimum of fuss! I love to look at the super fussy multi-layered layouts of others, but they're just not me!

My scrapbooking layout

Materials used:

• One sheet of Costco's 300gsm double sided card, I used the more patterned side this time around
• Computer generated journalling and printed photos
• White card - to give substance to my journalling/pix
• Stamps used: Paper Artsy Eclectica ESA21, Dovecraft DCSTP106 and Funstamps F-E10 "Bold Balloons"
• Inks used: Versafine Clair nocturne and red tulip

And now for a card ... made for some dear friends that I've not been able to see in ages and who I don't appear to be going to see any time soon either.

My 4" square card

Materials used:

• Kraft, 300gsm, 4" square card and matching envelope
• Card in Kraft, black and white - for image panel, insert, matting
• Inkadinkado image (from 99115 "morphic bugs") stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
• MFT sentiment (from CS-167 "love is in the mail") stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
• Funky Fossil "Make your mark III" stencil used to apply Memento dandelion ink using a stencil brush
• Twinkling H2O's in sunburst and icicles used to water colour my image
