TGIF - got plans this weekend?

I've a make to share with you today ....... I used the opportunity to show an elderly sentiment set some ink, "If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun" - it just seemed like the perfect sentiment for that sassy chicken!

Materials used:

• White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
• Card in white and textured deep red, for my image panel, card panel, insert and matting
• Nesting circle dies (both plain and faux stitched) to die cut my image panel and matting layer
• Stamps used: Paper Artsy ZA58, TPC Studio ST93454 - "playful Expressions". Woodware JGCL560 and Carabelle SA60118
• Inks used: Adirondack raisin and Versafine Clair nocturne
• Additional mediums: Faber Castell polychromos pencils

And now for an Artist Trading Card, whilst I had that TPC Studio set out, it doesn't see enough ink -

Materials used:

• ATC blank
• Snippets of leftover card in metallic amethyst (DCWV) and white
• Using a makeup brush I applied the Ranger Archival majestic violet ink to the white card panel
• Overlaying the Paper Artsy stencil (PS001) I applied further majestic violet ink
• Magenta image (23640-H) stamped using Ranger Archival majestic violet ink
• TPC Studio sentiment (from ST93454 "playful expressions") stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
• Faber Castell black pitt pen used to doodle the border

Earlier this week I caught up with a pal, over a leisurely lunch, so nice to catch up in person again. Normally, we meet at a craft shop .... do a little damage to the credit card and THEN adjourn to lunch but our craft store closed so we had to go straight for lunch! The conversation flowed as freely as the cola products! And .... don't get me started about dessert! Thanks for a fab day matey - already looking forward to our next opportunity!
