Saturday - it's the weekend, hope you have plans!

Morning readers, 

Sorry to be so late with today's post but .... I was up and out this morning .... 150 mile round trip to meet up with pal's at a craft store followed by a tasty lunch and leisurely natter and I got to exchange my last Christmas present of 2020 - yes, that's right - 2020!! So, now ... here I am ... gone 6pm and JUST made my card for today's post! New stash too but I'll be inking that for a future post as none of it fitted the "spots" challenge!

I've a make to share with you today ....... it's the dreaded ONE LAYER CARD week over at Less Is More

My 6" square ONE LAYER CARD and, below:
The front/back/inside of my card along with the front/back of my envelop

Materials used:
  • White, 300gsm, 6" square card and matching envelope
  • White card, cut to fit, as my insert - this IS a OLC remember - I'm just thank I DID!
  • Stamps used: Creative Expressions "urban beats" sentiment and Lavinia Stamps "spots"!!!
  • Inks used: Versafine Clair: nocturne, paradise (blue), charming pink, tulip red and cheerful (yellow)


I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-

And now for an Artist Trading Coin ...... using a piece of NBUS (a gel plate from a friend, thanks so much Sarn)

My Artist Trading Coin, measuring 2½" diameter

Materials used:
  • Snippets of leftover card in black and white
  • Gel plate
  • TCW stencils (TCW266S and TCW361S)
  • Mediums used: white paint, pebeo iridescent pink paint, Distress Oxide black soot, Versafine onyx black, Versafine Clair charming pink inks
  • Nesting circle dies, used to cut the 2½" and 2¼" circles
  • Stamps Used: Paper Artsy "smile" from HPXT03, Magenta foliage (23640-H) both heat embossed using WOW! superfine clear embossing powder and a heat gun

I love your beautifully colourful circles from Lavinia which also have spots within so doubly appropriate Kathy, and a nice sized sentiment to finish it, and then the pretty gelli plate piece for your ATCoin with a perfect added foliage and 'smile' sentiment. A good bit of stash and great to catch up with friends for a chat and lunch too. I notice that one of them is the Woodware wreath which I have myself and have use quite a bit, so look forward to seeing what you do with it. x
