coffee…

This was a bit troublesome for me!
Then I thought of the sentiment dies I had.
The base card is white card stock with a layer of rust card stock.
Next came a piece of coffee patterned paper.
I used the die, unknown company, for “It’s Your Day” cutting four layers as well as the rust card stock top piece.
The second sentiment came from a Hero Arts “Encouragement Sentiment Stamp” and the coordinating die to cut out the sentiment, with others.

enchanted april…

My favorite movie this time of year is “Enchanted April”.
In order to create a card based on it I went with a section of Woodware “Peaceful Night” stamp to get the feel of San Salvatore, the villa where the main characters vacation.
(Please note that this is also a book by the wonderful author Elizabeth von Arnim)
The base card is purple checked card stock with a layer of black card stock.
I stamped a section of the stamp on water color paper as well as the sentiment from Altenew “Something Wonderful”.
Using watercolor pencils I created the flowers from the movie:
wisteria
geraniums
nasturtiums
snapdragons

Please check out the movie or the wonderful book!

hunt…

I will be very honest with you I tried to use all four colors but I just couldn’t find the right lighter green.
Here’s what I had…
WAY too blue for my liking so I went with the yellow, peach and dark green with grey and black neutrals.
I chose to use stamps from Colorado Craft Company’s Anite Jeram “Bunnies and Robin” and “Happy Easter”.
They are stamped on watercolor paper and watercolored with colored pencils.

happy…

This challenge required a “tie”.
What better way to spruce up an Easter card than with a bunny bow.
The base card is white card stock with layers of green card stocks and green checked patterned paper.
The sentiment is from Sunny Studio “Bunnyville”.
The bunny is from Tim Holtz Carrot”Bunny Hop”

easter….

Just can’t stop making Easter cards!
The base card is white card stock with a layer of black card stock and then a layer of bunny patterned paper.
Using pink card stocks I created the sketch but added a die cut black egg, unknown company, instead of the circle die.
To that I applied a die cut white bunny, unknown company, and stamped the sentiment from Taylored Expressions “Many Minis-Holidays” then cut it out with a die from My Favorite Things “MSTN Say Anything\”.
