It's humpday ... aka WEDNESDAY!

Morning readers,

Well ... what a wet and wild start to the week .... I'm SUPPOSED to be meeting pals for a walk around a park and a coffee today but .....

I've a make to share with you today .......

My C6 card
Below: the two stencil inking
Below again: the front/back/inside of my card and front/back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
  • Card in white and textured lime, cut to fit and mat
  • Using a makeup brush I applied Adirondack citrus ink to one corner
  • Overlaying my Memory Box grid stencil (88517) I applied further ink
  • Overlaying my TCW circles stencil (TCW278S) I added further "bubbles"
  • Kaisercraft script image stamped using Memento gray flannel ink
  • Clearly Besotted sentiment (Brushed sentiments) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • Craft Emotions image (130501/1237) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Country View Challenges - July challenge - USE A STENCIL (or two) - two used!
  2. HLS - July CAS challenge - CITRUS AND ZING - I went with the citrus colour scheme and hope this won't be a "stretch too far"!
  3. Perfectly CAS - challenge No. 16 - ONE CORNER (less than 1/3)
  4. Just Us Girls - challenge No. 591 - SCRIPT
  5. Dream Valley Challenge - challenge No. 251 - ALL OCCASIONS

I was a favourite over at Happy Little Stampers for my entry for the May Stencil challenge - thanks so much peeps, it's much appreciated.

Still can't resist taking some pix when I find myself out for a walk on a nice day ...... these were taken the morning I walked hubby round to the station(not THIS week), he was off meeting a group of ex-colleagues for lunch and a natter and (plainly) planned a couple of drinks so best not to drive - the train's so handy for these occasions ..... I took a shortcut home!

I love your mix of stencilling in the pretty citrus colour Kathy and a beautiful floral silhouette and sentiment standing out beautifully in black. A terrific card. x

Fab take on the theme Kathy. Hope you managed to get out with your friends when the rain finished, it was a tad damp here last week to put it mildly!
Thanks for joining in at Perfectly CAS. :)

Why not? Your approach to the subject is very liberating and I think it fits perfectly with our challenge at HLS CAS. Beautiful card, I love what's going on in the background.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful card in our HLS CAS gallery.
